THE METRO WEST DAILY NEWS – The Marlborough Economic Development Corp. (MEDC) plans to hold three free classes for Training and Intervention Procedures for Servers of alcohol (TIPS). The classes will hold up to 35 students and be open to all Marlborough hospitality employees on a first-come, first-served basis. The first class take places April 8 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 265 Lakeside Ave., Marlborough. The other two are scheduled for May 6 and June 3 from 4 to 9 p.m., with the locations still to be determined. Patriot Ambulance said it will also be sponsoring a free CPR training session for Marlborough hospitality employees on May 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott, 75 Felton St., Marlborough.
