COMMUNITY ADVOCATE – The Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) have teamed up to help local business owners secure financing for their new or existing ventures.
MEDC and MRCC will be hosting a free “Access to Financing” workshop Friday, Sept. 25, from 7:30-9:15 a.m., at The Campus at Marlborough, 110 Campus Drive, UCLA Room.
A panel of industry experts will be providing tips on how companies of all sizes can gain access to more capital. Panelists include business professionals with various financial sector backgrounds, including Paula Camara, senior business advisor, financial specialist for Clark University Small Business Development Center; Larry LaChance, president of Bankers Capital; Thomas Allain, senior VP/commercial loan officer at Avidia Bank; and Lisa Kirby Gibbs, managing partner at Highland-March Office Business Centers.
