To stabilize the residential tax base by increasing Marlborough’s commercial tax revenue which will guarantee the future stability of the city; allowing for higher quality of life for all Marlborough residents.

We will do this by:

• Shaping and communicating a vision for the city’s future economy
• Fostering the growth of Marlborough’s commercial, industrial, and retail sectors while attracting complementary businesses to the community
• Developing and implementing strategies for sustainable financial growth
• Leveraging Marlborough’s pivotal New England’s crossroads location for the growth of Marlborough’s tax base
• Bolstering corporate and leisure travel and youth sports tourism
