June 21, 2011 — Access Northeast, one of the largest privately held data center and managed service providers in New England, today announces the completion of a new 10,000 square-foot raised floor project and the execution of a long-term lease for another 40,000 square feet of space.
This expansion now brings Access Northeast’s total existing data center space in Marlborough to nearly 25,000 square feet. The new lease provides a future road map for the continued growth of the company’s Parthenon Cloud platform, as well as their colocation service offerings, in a contiguous 70,000 square-foot footprint.
“Access Northeast is pleased to announce the simultaneous completion of our latest state-of-the-art raised floor data center expansion in conjunction with a long-term lease for future growth. Both initiatives now provide us with a substantial platform for colocation and Parthenon Cloud expansion well into the next decade,” said Rob Stephenson, CEO of Access Northeast. “The combination of these strategic initiatives positions Access Northeast to continue our ascent as the leading New England provider of data center, Cloud and managed services for the enterprise.”
There will be an Open House to provide interested parties with a facility tour and an educational panel discussion titled “Cloud, Colocation or Both” on Thursday, June 23 at 1:00 PM. The panel will feature several IT leaders from local enterprises in an informational setting providing input into the IT infrastructure decision-making process.
