COMMUNITY ADVOCATE – Hundreds of athletes from across the state traveled to Marlborough, Northborough and Stow Aug. 27-28 to participate in the Special Olympics Massachusetts 2016 Tournament of Champions.

In addition to the competition on Saturday, athletes, their families, a team of over 200 volunteers and members of the public enjoyed a Community Sports Experience at the Yawkey Sports Training Center in Marlborough.
The event was supported by community partners: Marlborough Mayor Arthur Vigeant’s office, Avidia Bank, DCU for Kids, St. Mary’s Credit Union, Unum, Embassy Suites Marlborough and the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation.
