PATCH – The Marlborough senior center is closed for the foreseeable future, but the city’s Council on Aging is still helping older citizens get through the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A new senior aid program went live on Tuesday, according to city officials.
“As a response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, the City of Marlborough has initiated a Senior Aid Program,” officials said in a statement. “This program will allow volunteers and senior center staff to assist Marlborough seniors with tasks such as grocery and medicine retrieval.”
