Commuter Shuttle
The Marlborough Commuter Shuttle is at your service!
The shuttle connects resident commuters and employees between the City of Marlborough and the Southborough MBTA Commuter Rail. The city shuttle route includes the business park at 200 Forest Street/Campus Drive, the Apex Center of New England and the downtown area. This option provides free public transportation for those who take the train to and/or from Boston & Worcester.
The 14 – passenger handicap-accessible van completes three round trips to the Southborough MBTA Commuter Rail in the morning and in the evening.
Monday through Friday
Morning Trips: 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM
Evening Trips: 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM
To utilize the commuter shuttle service, riders must register online.

Note: Free public parking is available for residents of Marlborough, Ma within two locations – 200 Forest Street (lot behind Hilton Garden Inn – bus stop in front of Quest Diagnostics) and public parking areas at the Apex Center of New England, to ride the shuttle in the morning to the train station and back in the evening. Public parking is also available in the downtown free parking garages.
Please stay up to date with the MBTA Train Schedule – the Marlborough Commuter Shuttle Route follows the Framingham/Worcester Line REGULAR WEEKDAY Service Schedule. The shuttle will NOT operate when the MBTA runs on a WEEKEND Schedule during the weekday & will NOT operate when the MBTA declares a Winter Storm Schedule due to inclement weather.
Note: The shuttle is unable to provide curb-to-curb service. The Marlborough Commuter Shuttle will NOT operate on the following 2025 Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Patriots’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas and Day After Christmas.
