Marlborough, MA, January 27, 2010 — Marlborough 2010 Corporation will hold its annual meeting on January 27, 2010 at the Best Western hotel in Marlborough. Mayor Nancy Stevens who is a member of the board will be in attendance. Marlborough 2010 Corporation chairman Michael P. Hogan will present the annual report. Newly appointed executive director Marilyn Whalley will present her report including the work plan and budget for the year.
A highlight of the meeting will be the Marlborough 2010 Business Action Plan prepared in collaboration with Tufts University which outlines recommendations for promoting downtown Marlborough as a dynamic, mixed-use destination in which residents and visitors alike congregate to live, work and play. The plan recommends low-cost, short-term initiatives to help revitalize the downtown area.
