Stocks craft beers, premium wine, artisan cheese
Marlborough, MASS. December 7, 2018 – The Vin Bin, a local gourmet wine, cheese, spirits and café opened its second retail store this month in Marlborough, under the name Vin Bin West, next door to Hannaford’s Market at 193 Boston Post Road West in the RK Center. The store is across the street from the newly opened Apex Center.
Vin Bin West offers the same curated, hand selected wines, craft beers and hand cut artisan cheeses as the other three Vin Bin locations, but in a much larger environment.
Managing the eight-member staff at Vin Bin West is Darren McLaughlin, a long-time Marlborough resident and former general manager of Wayside Racquet Club.
The new store offers a 15-door beer cooler stocked with the latest craft beer selections, as well as a well-rounded assortment of popular commodity beers.
The wine shelves are filled with international selections that have proven to be great values while offering unique options in every price range to wine drinkers.
Among the nearly 1000 labels stocked, Vin Bin West also provides well known wine selections and a huge assortment of half bottles to serve short-term hotel visitors.
Following the original Vin Bin, West also offers a wide assortment of local, New England and imported cheeses – all available freshly cut upon purchase.
Rounding out the shop, Vin Bin West offers custom wine and cheese gift baskets, crackers, gourmet chocolates, jams, sauces and other food items that pair with wine and cheese.
Vin Bin West is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 am to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
In addition to Vin Bin West, Vin Bin operates full liquor stores and cafes at 91 Main St., Marlborough, and 154 Turnpike Road in Southborough, and a wine, beer and cheese store at 22 South St. Hopkinton.
The Vin Bin, approaching its 15th year in business, is also known for hosting the Vin Bin Academy, a seasonal educational series; several grand wine tastings throughout the year; free, weekly wine, beer and spirts tastings; and, fundraisers and sponsorships for local charities.
The Vin Bin Café, in Marlborough and Southborough, has won numerous awards for its specialty sandwiches, homemade soups and salads.
